Now we're cookin' with gas!! Its great to see the recent flurry of
activity in the guestbook!! It seems that everybody is taking full
advantage of keeping up with old friends. There is just one
problem!... WHEN THE HELL ARE THE PEOPLE IN BRASILIA GOING TO GET IT
TOGETHER TO START ORGANIZING THE NEXT REUNION!! If it is going to
happen down there and we want a sizable international attendance then
we need to get rolling here. Sorry for getting a little surly, but we
definately need somebody down there to step up to the plate and get
things started. Manuel and Mari Angeles let's plan on getting
together sometime in January. My home phone number is (202) 722-7639.
I've started a new job as a scientist in a pharmaceutical out here in
Rockville, Md. so things are a little hectic right now. Keep in
touch! Mark A. ... I think we're beyond berating people! Time to
light some fires! Um abraco a todos!

"Old stomping grounds" Maria M. ? more like purgatory to me!
Albeit, I have to say I had some pretty good times too. Listen, you,
Alex and myself should get together for happy-hour. I work at the
corner of 13th and New York Av. which I think is relatively close to
where you are. I wonder were Alex is? Ive touched base with him a
couple of times but we never seem to get together. Why don't you give
me a call at 202-623-3878. It would be grate fun! I might even
reconsider Brazilia, but I doubt it very, very much.

Hey all! I LOVE coming back to EAB... though not physically since
it is kind of a long treck! I just wanted to say that this site is a
great means of procrastination and enjoyment for me. I love it here!
Of course this is the first time I've posted anything! I graduated
class of 96. Am a sophomore at Vanderbilt University in Nashville,
TN. For those of you out there who know who I am... my parents are
teaching in Saudi Arabia now and Danielle is about to graduate and
get married! :) Finals are upon us here at Vandy and I must return to
my studies for now! Have a Merry Christmas everyone e un Feliz Ano
Novo! Tchau! Ni

Hi Mari Angeles! I remember you too. I did not, however, remember
that you were from Trinidad until just now. Since our days at EAB, I
have been to Trinidad several times as my Dad was the Brazilian
Ambassador there for about five years. It was a great place to visit!
I still haven't heard from anyone who might know the whereabouts of
Dr. Colquitt... I did get an email from Aaron Brown, remember him? I
replied, but have not heard back from him. Aaron, are you still out
there??? Bye for now, Fernando (Class of '82).

Hello EAB folks: Just wanted to inform those "ole" folks out there
that I have left Denver and am now residing permanently in the
Washington area. My new coordinates are: Home: 18551 Cape Jasmine

Alex, with the move and all, I misplaced your telephone number. Now
you've moved. Please call me; I'd love for us to get together.
Manuel, sorry, but I think that having a reunion in Brasilia would be
better than Jamaica (leave that for your anniversary trip or
something). It would be nice to have the reunion in our old "stomping
grounds!" As for Dr. Colquitt, I'd love to know his whereabouts. Any
leads, anyone? I remember you, Fernando. And hello to the Trinidadian
Wattley girls, from another Trinidadian who grew up in Brasil!
Beijos, "Maria Major"

So I ended up coming back here.....small wonder, since I keep
running into the "almas penadas" (as Flavia Naslausky calls all the
EAB people who show up all the time). I'm still an utterly
unproductive member of society (what about you lot?), bored out of my
mind. Someone e-mail me soon! BTW, did anyone think up another
reunion anytime soon? Not that almost all of you won't be in Rio for
New Year's...

Hello E.A.B.! I can hardly believe I found this homepage. Back in
1992 there a rumor that we would have a reunion in 1997. I've been
horrible about keeping in touch so I would now love to get in touch
with old friends and classmates. Also, I'd like to know if we are all
still planning a reunion for the Class of 1992. I guess I should keep
this message short but I wanted to let you all know that all is well.
I'll finally be graduating from F.S.U. in about 2 weeks with a B.F.A.
in theatre! I have a second interview for the Georgia Shakespeare
Festival in a couple of days. So, depending on how that goes, I might
end up in Atlanta. Anyway, if anyone remembers me please write:

Hi everybody, it's great to see a few more people leaving posts in
the Guestbook. For those of you that just pass through... you're
missing the boat. It is so much fun getting back in touch with old
friends... even for someone like me, who never thought he would have
any interest in those I went to school with. So get with the program
and leave a message so that those that knew you at EAB can get in
touch with you. I would still like to see more people from me era
though... Hey Alex, maybe if we keep berating people long enough
they'll get the message :-)

Looks like we're getting some hits now!! Hi all! I'm switching
jobs soon. I'll post my new email address as soon as I get it. I'm
still a little perturbed that we have not heard from people IN Brasil
about organizing the next reunion. Wendy and I are still working on
the house. We should be moving into it before the end of the year
though. Keep in touch everybody!!

Hi everyone! I feel guilty just reading without posting anything
so here I am. Hello to all my gang out there in cyberspace. Things
are going well in the Chapman homestead. The kids are gorgeous,
although Jake is now 14 months and a real handful! Man can that boy
tear up a house! Anyway, Mike and are both starting new jobs, so all
is up in the air, but in a good way. Looking forward to the holidays.
Take care, and I would REALLY like to hear from some folks out there.
I (alog with a couple of others) are still looking for Bryan French,
so if anyone knows the wearabouts, please let me know. Also I would
like to find Stephanie Arenales, if anyone knows where she is. Beijos

Oops. I was just on here but I forgot to include some important
information. I attended EAB almost all the way from K through 7th
grade. I guess my last year at EAB was '89 or '90. I'd love to hear
from anyone who remembers me. Where are you Nadia Olson, Michelle?
How about all those old faithfuls who were with me all those years?
Adriana, Carla, Glenda, Saolo, Guilherme, Carolina Azavedo and
others. Would love to hear how you are. I'm finishing up my
Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and attending Wheaton College in IL.

Dear EAB's-I hope you don't mind a Carioca writing in. I am
looking for an old friend of mine Kathy Zvanevec. She moved there in
the 8th grade and would have graduated in '79 if she had stayed
there. We lost touch after she moved from Rio to Brasilia. You guys
took a few of my friends-I hope you treated them well.Thank-you for
your space here. P.S. I really don't think Bruno is a representation
of your English Department at EAB. Abracos e beijinhos-Ruth

I was perusing the reunion site and was, and still am, flabergast
at the thought of having the next reunion in Brazilia. Not wanting to
offend anyone, "but hell NO!". Lord have mercy! three years was
enough in that forsaken hell hole. I would like to suggest a more
enlightning place such as RIO, AND BY THE BEACH! A more natural and
neutral ground, where both the intellectually gifted and the
challenged, the workaholics and spirited bumbs, the best of friends
and worst of enemies, can gather in harmony and declare their
enternal love to nature and humanity. If Rio is to much of a
challenge, how about JAMAICA? Changing subjects, Lori thanks for
getting in touch and sending me Tim's e-mail address. Unfortunetly, I
can't seem to reach him through this address (monk@aol.com.) For the
unruly lot of you out there, does anyone keep touch with Mark Haxton?
The poor bastard who cheered for Vasco da Gama.

Guilty as charged! I have been lurking around the EAB site for
quite a while now but have not participated... I have no idea who
might remember me, but I was in the class of '82. Unfortunately, even
though I was here in the States, I couldn't make it to the reunion in
'95. I hope there will be another one soon! I often think about some
of the great times we had way back in the early 80's at EAB... Does
anyone know of the whereabouts of our senior year english teacher,
Dr. Colquitt? Who remembers the 'film' we made for graduation that
year? It'll be great to hear from any of you out there. Bye for now,
Fernando.

I have come to learn that there are a lot of people visiting the
website but not leaving comments in the guestbook. I strongly
recommend that upon visiting this wonderful site you should make sure
that you leave some sort of message... any sort of message! We are
going for the snowball effect here and the more people we get reading
these messages the more we can get the word out about this website
and a possible reunion! Tchau!!!!! Alex
