How nice to start seeing a few more alumni from the '70's. Great
to learn that the Patino siblings are doing so well...
congratulations. Now all we have to do is get everyone more
interested in the Reunion in 2000.

Hi everyone! This is Maria, Cecy and Gaby Patino talking. We were
in Brazilia during 1978 through 1981. It was great to find this page
and see alot of names of people we once knew and loved. Here goes a
little update on our lives: Cecy: Physician, married , no kids yet,
very dedicated to her work. Gaby: Computer Engineer, works alot, not
married yet, and nice as always. Jose: Journalist, not working at the
time, married with 3 kids (brats). Um beijao a todos,

Just a quick note to update friends on my change of E-mail. The
old one was not sending the "did not receive" message so if I didn't
respond it wasn't that I was being rude. Looking forward to hearing
from "old" EAB friends. Karen McLevie

memories of EAB and Brazil. I graduated from EAB in 1992. Now, I'm
working in the DC area. The only person I'm still in touch with is
Rachel Mathieu. Does anyone have Mr. Crandall's contact info? Where

A couple of things about the upcoming virtual reunion (Man, you
people must think I have no life!!). Bruce (EARJ) sent me an email
about the capacity of his chat site. Apparently, only 25 people can
chat at any given time so I guess the rule of thumb for those wanting
to participate would be to be persistent. Also, I noticed that they
(EARJ chatters) use their names and also their class year as their
ID's. For instance, since I was with the class of 80 I would join the
chat as Alex80. I guess if you didn't graduate from EAB you could put
down the years that you were there like Alex75-80. This is just a
silly little idea of course so do what you want to do. See ya'

Oi pessoal, first of all I would like to congratulate everyone who
contributed in making this successful homepage. It is a wonderfull
idea. I attended EAB from 1984 thru 1988. Those were unforgettable
years. Lately, I have been in contact with a bunch of people from the
Class of '88 and '89. It's been great since I haven't spoken to a lot
of them for almost ten years. Hey you long lost friends, lets get in

Hello there, I used to go to the EAB when I was a kid, and when I
bumped into this website after almost 15 years, I was pleasantly
surprised. Now I don't expect anyone to remember who I was but if it
helps, I was at the EAB from '80 until '84 , from first to fourth
grade. I still have the year books and everything........ hmmmmm.
Well I guess I wan't to say HI to any one who might remember me and
my sister Fiona (who was three years above me), thank you and bye bye

I just had a wonderful chat with Hector Griffin on the EARJ
homepage chat room. We would like to throw out the idea of a virtual
reunion to be held on the EARJ chat site on September 15 (assuming
that doen't fall on a Wednesday when the kind folks of EARJ chat). If
we could settle on this as a day then we could pick a time. I think
it should be a time when people in the U.S and Brazil could chat. Any
suggestions? Anyone for Virtual Reunion '98!!!!!?

Thanks so much for providing a way for me to find some classmates
and friends. I graduated from EAB in 76, then went to WWC for a BS
and MS in Biology. I got married in 1981 and now live in Kelowna with
my husband Randy, and our 4 children. I home school the kids 2 in
grade 8, one in 5 and one in 4. I do a lot of music playing and
organizing, and this summer organized our church's campmeeting
programs for 7 and 8 year olds. I had 100 of them twice a day for 2
hours at a time. We mostly did a natural history program. I would
love to hear from classmates, teachers and friends! Cherri Van Doren

Hi everyone! Things here are terrific. Really miss all of you! I'd
love to hear from anyone from 77-79 especially class of '82 people.
Our kids are growing like crazy, they're 4 and (almost) 2 and they

Hi Folks... it has been quite some time since I have left a post
on the Guestbook, so I suppose it might be a bit hypocritical of me
to make the following commentary... however, I have to say it is
pretty discouraging to compare our (EAB's) alumni homepage to EAR's
(Rio). This isn't to say that the design leaves anything to be
desired (Alessandra and her hubby have done a great job) but the
activity or lack thereof, really sucks. In this area EAR really kicks
our asses (like they used to do in most sports) Moreover, the
apparent lack of serious interest on the part of more than a handful
of people's part in another reunion, is another indication to me that
some things never change. In this case... apathy. EAB students (at
least from my era) were never shining examples of school spirit. Like
I mentioned at the beginning of this little diatribe, I am as guilty
as the rest of you... but we could always change and show a little
more interest. Might be fun, give it a try. For those of you who
don't know, I attended EAB in the mid 70's and graduated in '77. Back
then my last name was "Smith." My e-mail address has changed so those
of you who I used to get e-mail from, please make note, anyone else
feel free to drop me a line. On a final note, the length of this post
should make up for all the times I have visited the web site and
departed without a contribution... y'all take care. Marc Albritton

Hi folks! I'm back online after about a month. How about that WC
98. O que ferio mais foi quando um cara chegou pra mim depois do
jogo, viu a minha camisa da Selecao, e disse em espanhol, "O Brasil,
se rendieran!" ... Ouch!! I'm now looking for some sort of post-World
Cup support group. OH IT'S JUST A GAME, Yeah, right!! It has been
reassuring to see that there seems to be sporatic interest in the
next reunion. I still think that some sort of committee needs to be
established pretty soon to guide the rest of us through the twists
and turns of a reunion in Brazil. Are we still using the EARJ web
page to chat on Tuesday nights? What time do people usually meet at?
I hope to chat with some of you there next week. See ya'! Um abraco a

Hello Everybody! I just found out about this site.
Congratulations for having such a great idea. I've been in contact
(by mails) with about 30 EAB alumni, but now I can certainly increase
that ammount. EAB family is forever! AbraÁo para todo
mundo. Mario Freitas.

Lindsey Irvin EAB 1973-1975 Wow! This is really awesome! I just
stumbled upon this web site and was amazed at the the size of the
alumni as well as the current size of the school. I attended EAB
during a great time. Way too many memories to cover in this message.
If you remember me, please write. If you don't remeber me, well..
still write if you want. Any chance of getting current pictures of
the school on the web site? Hope to hear from you soon.

Hi! This message is for my brother, Josh Van Wynen, too. We just
thought we'd try again - we'd love to get some e-mail from any old
friends/acquaintances - heck, even enemies. Although I don't remember
having any in particular. . . Anyhow, I'm the class of 2002, and Josh
is class of 2000. Actually, now I'm 2001, but that's a long story.
Hopefully some others from our years there (Josh: first to fifth
grade, Katy: Kindergarten to third) will visit this guestbook.
Khairin, Aliaa, Deborah, Kian, Omar, Kemi, and everyone else: We
remember and miss you! :)

Wow, what a great thing this page is. I should check it out more
often, but every time I do I get so homesick for EAB. I'd love to
know more about the chat rooms ideas and the reunion in 2000. I'm
married now and living in Grant Park (downtown Atlanta). We bought a
big old fixer-upper and I spend all my free time fixin-uppin. I think
my wife would really enjoy meeting and getting to know all you nuts
from eab. I'm hoping for something of a local reunion here in
Atlanta, there's been talk about it but no go yet. Let me know what's
going on.

Greetings from El Nino'ed Calgary. Warm, for us, weather, no snow,
perfect. Our little airline, WestJet, continues to grow, we own 8
737-200's now and continues to be nicely profitable, kind of unusual
given what's happened to Western Pacific, Pan Am, Vanguard, (wait
about 45 days...), Air South, Reno and Frontier. In fact, only
Southwest and WestJet are profitable - nice company to be in. We
continue to annoy, perplex and generally aggravate our competitors -
who contine to lose profuse amounts of cash in markets where we
compete with them. Needless to say, they don't like us very much. IPO
in late '98. I'm working with some US partners on the first
"mega-startup" in US history. All new aircraft and a brand that would
be instantly recognizable to all. Sorry, can't say much more - but
look for it in spring/summer '99 east of the Mississipi. I'd be
interested to hear from high school classmates etc from
76-78.

Quite a few of our former students from 1974-78 have visited this
page and sent messages on to us. We have sincerely enjoyed hearing
from all of you. Alex, congrats on the new job and house. Hope all is
going well for you. Sid and Vicki Stewart

Hi! Just wanted to let everyone know that Tatiana and I are still
living in New York but we've moved. Our new address is 461 West 44th
St. Apt. 5A/ New York, NY 10036. Our number is (212) 586-4460. We
attended EAB from '83 to '92. Tatiana was Class of '93 and I was
Class of '95. We were both part of EAB's first Girls' Soccer Team
(TIMAO!!!) in '92. You can write us at my email. We are definitely
interested in the 2000 reunion, and in hearing from anyone and
everyone. Beijos, Joana :)

Ola gente! Although I failed to graduate because we moved back to
the US, I would have been class of 1980. I left in 78. I was part of
the SIL group that had a strong presence at school. Sure would be
great to hear from anyone who remembers me. Also, get pictures of the
school as it is now! I would love to see what the campus looks like.
Does the soccer field still drop off on one end? Ed Pearo

I am the last Seabra of the Seabra dynasty to grace the halls of
EAB. I graduated in '84 and I am still looking for a fellow colleague
who also graduated that year. His name is Inder Chandwani, son at the
time of the 3rd secretary of the Indian emabassy. His little
brother's name was Sono. Last I heard from him was in '86 and he was
in London. Thanks for any help. Philippe

Hello, all! I am here to harass you again. I hope that you are
enjoying yourselves, whereever fate may have taken you in this day
and time. As such, I would like to make a few announcements. First, I
now have an e-mail address: huatchye.lim@leland.stanford.edu. This
means that I am open to all correspondence, and that you are free to
e-mail me all you like, although be forewarned that it may be eons
before I e-mail you back. Second, does anyone know the e-mail address
of Kunwar Singh, Class of 1995? Or, failing that, his snail mail
address? I have not heard from Mr. Singh for a while and have been
unable to locate him so far. Mr. Crandall has told me that he is now
at Cornell University, although his name or any variation of it is
not on the Cornell Directory. Your assistance is much appreciated, to
a certain extent. Regards, Huat Chye Lim, Class of 1997
